flow yoga

Flow Yoga Cass x 2

Build strength and stability with breath led movements. The breath acts as the thread between the body and the mind, helping you to find lightness in body and peace of mind. This class is suitable for all levels and is complemented by pranayama (breathwork) and meditation.
Tuesday 5:15 PM – 6:15 PM & 6:30 – 7:30 PM

Restorative Class

This is a pop up class brought to you as an opportunity to recharge and restore your energy.

Restorative poses are held for 3-5 minutes, with props placed to allow the body to experience a gentle unfolding. The breath is used as a tool to bring prana/ lifeforce/ energy, to areas of the body through intention.

We round off the practice with Yoga Nidra to bring deep relaxation to body and mind. All abilities welcome.

Beginners Yoga

Learn the basics in this 6-week beginner’s course. You will learn key poses, breathing techniques, relaxation and meditation. Whether you’re returning to yoga after a long break or just starting out, this is the perfect place to begin.

Slow Flow and Restore

I am running a 3 week trial of this class to see if demand is there.

We will incorporate slow mindful movements, pranayama (breathwork), and restorative poses. This therapeutic class is open to all abilities. Particularly beneficial for those recovering from illness, experiencing stress/ anxiety. Reset the nervous system and encourage the body back to its natural healing state.

Yoga Mummas Port Macquarie

Mums and Bubs 

This class is designed to help you rebuild strength and stability after the birth of your child and foster confidence and community, encouraging you to get back out into the world with your little one in tow.
General advice is to begin from 6 weeks natural birth and 10 weeks post caesarean. Best suited for babies up until crawling.
(Class requires minimum of 5 participants, book by Sunday 5pm to make sure class goes ahead)

Chair Yoga Port Macquarie

Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga is a wonderful way to explore and receive the health benefits of yoga. Chair Yoga is beneficial for people with limited mobility, disabilities, recovering from illness or injury, or anyone who is unable to participate in a traditional yoga class done on a mat.                                                                                                    Yoga poses are modified and adapted with the use of a chair for seated postures and breathing techniques, and as an aid for balance.
Benefits can include improved breathing capacity, balance, coordination, range of motion, flexibility, strength, bone density, lowered stress levels and blood pressure.
Chair Yoga can be delivered in a variety of settings, from small to large groups, in aged care facilities, or yoga studios.

Breathwork and Meditation course

Learn basic techniques, benefits & purpose of specific practices.
Learn to use the breath as a tool to calm the mind, soothe the nervous system and bring the body back to its natural healing state.
Learn to use breath as a tool for meditation.
Learn to use bandhas (energetic locks), mudras (hand gestures), dristi (gaze points) and mantra (words and sound) as tools for meditation.
No experience necessary.
